GARDNER, HENRY - Monday night Henry Gardner, an old resident of Cove Springs, died at the home of his son, Dr. J. V. Gardner, at Salem.  He was ninety years of age and was born in Ireland, coming to this country when a young man.  His wife died some 20 years ago, and for the past 14 years Mr. Gardner had spent most of his time with his son.  He had been critically ill since the first of the year, but had improved, when on Sunday he became unconscious.  His son was not at home at the time, and another physician was called, but the patient did not revive, and he remained in an unconscious condition until death ensued.  The funeral services were held at Cove Springs church at 1 o'clock Thursday afternoon and burial was made in the Casstown cemetery.
