Mrs. Helen E. Cron, 68, Wife Of John C., Dies  

Mrs. Helen E. Cron, 68, of 411 Broadway, died at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Dettmer Hospital.  She had been ill one year and hospitalized at Dettmer nine months. She was born in Xenia, Jan. 26, 1905, a daughter of the late Frank R. and Agnes Marie McDonaugh Hurley.  Aug. 3, 1932, she was married in Xenia to John C. Cron.  Mrs. Cron was a member of Greene Street United Methodist Church, Research, Fortnightly and Columbian Clubs. Surviving is her husband, president of the J. C. Cron Sons Funeral Home; a daughter, Mrs. Harold E. Lyon (Nancy E.) of Columbus, and two grandchildren, Becky E. and David E. Lyon. Also surviving is a brother, John E. Hurley of Seminole, Fla.  Two brothers, Robert and Forest, and a sister, Cleo, are deceased.  Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Cron Funeral Home by the Rev. Roland D. Fierce, with burial in Forest Hill Cemetery.  Calling hours at the funeral home are 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today.
