HARB, GEORGE W. -West Milton--George W. Harb, son of Wm. and Rhoda Harb, was born in Franklin, Ohio, May 22, 1829, and died in West Milton, April 9, 1911, aged 81 years, 10 months and 17 days.  He was married to Maria Louise Tenny January 2, 1859.  To them were given eight children, seven girls and one boy, six having preceded the parents in death.  His wife was taken by the hand of death May 9, 1893.  Mr. Harb's parents moved to Milton in 1833 where his father and his brothers were engaged in business for some years from 1844 to 1869.  The deceased was the proprietor of a general store from 1869 to 1876 when he removed to Troy and was in the milling business for two years.  In 1878 he moved back to Milton and from 1879 to 1908 was engaged in the drug business.  The deceased has one brother, Lafayette Harb, now residing here, one sister, Anna Secrist, now very ill in Corning, Ark; two daughters, Clara Drummond of Riverton, Wyo. and Leona Hyatt, of Piqua, also thirteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild to mourn their loss.  Funeral was held from Christian church Wednesday afternoon conducted by Rev. O. P. Furnas.  Interment in Riverside cemetery.
