HARDY, GEORGE - George Hardy, aged 17 years, son of Mrs. Maggie Hardy and a pupil in the junior class of the Troy high school, died at his home on Oxford street at 6:30 o'clock Friday morning.  Death was due to pneumonia which developed from a severe cold from which he had been suffering only a few days.  He was born in Vigo, Ross county.  For some time he had been a member of the First Christian church.  He was a bright and popular student and will be missed by fellow pupils and his teachers as well as by the immediate members of his family.  The funeral services were held at the First M. E. church, Sunday, and the body was then shipped to College Hill, Cincinnati, for burial.
