FRANKLIN GRAHAM, RETIRED ORR FELT WORKER, SUCCUMBS  

Franklin Allen Graham, 77, retired Orr Felt and Blanket company employee, died at 9:45 p.m. Wednesday at his home, 653 South Wayne street, where he had been ill for five years with a heart condition. Born in Piqua January 1, 1870, he was the son of Edward S. and Emma Smithman Graham.  He had lived in this city all his life, attended Washington township school and was a member of St. John’s Evangelical church.  He retired from the blanket company when he was stricken with the heart ailment five years ago. His marriage to Miss Charlotte Harris took place September 26, 1900. Surviving are his wife, Charlotte; a daughter, Mrs. Wayne Benning (Frances), at home; three sons, Walter A. Graham of Buffalo, N.Y., J. Edward Graham of Zanesville, and Kenneth F. Graham of Piqua; a sister, Miss Lillian E. Graham of Coronado, Calif.; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. The Rev. Simon Long will conduct services Saturday at 2 p.m. at the J. C. Cron and Sons chapel with burial in Forest Hill cemetery. Friends will be received at the J. C. Cron and Sons funeral home Friday afternoon and evening and Saturday.
