CUSHWA, FRANKLIN ANDERSON - Center--Franklin Anderson Cushwa died Oct. 11th of paralysis.  He was born Oct. 20, 1835, in Frederick county, Maryland.  He was never married.  He was a kind and loving brother and a good neighbor and a good Christian.  It is said that he read his Bible through many times.  He was the owner of Charleston Falls.  One brother and two sisters survive him.  The funeral services were held Oct. 18th at the Brethren church in West Charleston of which he was a member.  Rev. Jacob Coppock officiated.  Interment in West Charleston cemetery.
