FRENCH, FANNIE PRESTON - On Sunday morning, the 1st inst., Fannie Preston, daughter of D. S. and Nellie M. French, aged two years, three months, and eleven days.

Yet the cherished form had suffered,
   Through the long bright sunny hours,
Slowly drooping, wasting, fading,
    Passing with the summer flowers. 

But an angel low at morn,
    Placed a wreath upon her brow,
Bore her suffering spirit homeward--
    Fannie is an angel now.
