 EMMA HONEYMAN JAY

 On January 28, 1937, Emma Honeyman Jay, aged seventy-two years. The daughter of James and Elizabeth Honeyman, she was born in Miami County, near West Milton, Ohio, on June 1, 1864. She was married to Elijah A. Jay, December 24, 1881. To this union were born four children, three of whom, two sons and a daughter, Ethel Jay Propst, pastor of the Dayton, Ohio, Meeting, survive. Elijah Jay’s death preceded his wife’s about a year ago. From early childhood Emma Jay lived a devoted Christian life, always faithful in attendance at and service to her church. She was a member of the Dayton, Ohio, Meeting and officiated on the Ministry and Oversight committee during its present organization.
