MEREDITH, ELIZABETH - Tuesday afternoon April 23, at two o'clock Elizabeth Meredith, aged 79 years and 10 days died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Edna Kettlehake in Tippecanoe City.  Mrs. Meredith had been an invalid since last July, when she accidentally fell and fractured her hip from which she never recovered.  Sunday catarrhl pneumonia set in and in her weakened condition she was unable to combat the disease.  Mrs. Meredith was born in Hancock county, Indiana, but spent the greater part of her life in Ohio and in Tippecanoe.  Her husband preceded her in death a number of years ago.  She leaves one daughter only, Mrs. Edna Kettlehake with whom she made her home and who cared for her during her long sickness.  The funeral took place Thursday afternoon at two o'clock from the residence with Rev. B. W. Zeigler officiating.  Interment in Maple Hill cemetery.
