McPHERSON, ELIZABETH - Tippecanoe City--Elizabeth McPherson, 84, a lifelong resident of Tippecanoe City and vicinity, died of pneumonia Sunday, at 11 a.m. at the home of her brother-in-law, Solomon Huffman, in Dayton.  At the time Mr. Huffman was suffering with a severe attack of the grippe and he expired a few minutes after the death of Mrs. McPherson.  Mr. Huffman, age 74, was also a pioneer resident of this place, but left here many years ago.  The remains of both were brought here for burial.  The funeral of Mrs. McPherson was held at 10 o'clock Wednesday at the English Lutheran church.
