OWEN, ELIZABETH KATHRYN - Tippecanoe City--Elizabeth Kathryn Owen, daughter of Evan and Margaret Owen was born in Lancaster county, Pa., Aug. 31, 1830, moving to Ohio in her early childhood with her parents.  She was of a family of eleven children, eight boys and three girls, all of which have preceded her in death except one brother Hezekiah, and one sister, Margaret.  She also leaves her daughter Mrs. Henry Anglebarger, with whom she made her home and where she died Sunday morning, January 14 at 11 a.m.  She was 81 years, 4 month and 14 days old.  She united with the Methodist church when a girl and was a faithful member up to her death.  She fell about three weeks ago injuring herself so badly from which she never recovered and which hastened the end.  The funeral took place from the home Tuesday at one o'clock the Rev.'s Coffman and Ziegler officiating.  Interment was made in Maple Hill cemetery.
