LEHMAN, ELIAS - Elias Lehman, a well known resident of Cynthian township, Shelby county, died at his home west of Oran Saturday morning, May 13, about 9:30 o'clock of dropsy, after an extended illness.  The deceased was born in Miami county July 25, 1844.  He was married to Mary A. Huffman, June 10, 1873.  Seven children were born to them, three dying in infancy.  He is survived by his wife, three sons, one daughter, five brothers and seven sisters.  The funeral services were held Monday, May 15, at 10 o'clock.  Interment at Oran.
