YOUNT, E. S. - Our community was again shocked Sunday by a message from Chicago, announcing the death of E. S. Yount, Saturday night.  "Sherd" had just been promoted to night yardmaster of the new terminal yards of the C. & N. W. after 18 years service with the company; about 10, Saturday night while at work, a cut of cars backed down and caught him, instantly crushing out his life.  While he had been away for nearly twenty years, the older residents remember him well and the newer ones had met him during frequent visits to the old home where he was born 40 years ago, of the immediate family, only one lives here, Mrs. H. W. Smith, his youngest sister.  The remains were brought down from Chicago Tuesday morning.  In the party were the bereft wife, Mrs. Bertha Yount, her sister, Mrs. Andrew Verschuur, and husband.  Funeral services are to be held at the Moody avenue home of his sister, Mrs. H. W. Smith, this afternoon at two, Rev. W. L. Clarke officiating, and under the auspices of the local B. R. T. Lodge.  Interment was in Highland cemetery, Covington, beside his father.            --Bradford Sentinel.
