HELMICK, DAVIS - Covington--Davis Helmick died Thursday evening at 7 o'clock.  The deceased suffered a stroke of paralysis about two years ago and has been in ill health since that time.  Last Friday he was again stricken and hardly regained consciousness before his demise.  He was the son of the late Jacob Helmick, of Pleasant Hill, and is survived by his wife, two sons, one daughter, four brothers and three sisters.  The obsequies were conducted at the Brethren church at Pleasant Hill, Sunday morning, by Rev. Frantz, assisted by Revs. D. D. Wine and George Flory.  Interment at Pleasant Hill cemetery.
