WARD, DAVID - Pleasant Hill--David Ward died January 15th at his home here of dropsy.  He was aged 62 years, 2 months and 10 days.  He is survived by his wife, six sons, two daughters, 23 grandchildren, two brothers and two sisters.  For many years he had been a faithful and loyal member of the Church of the Brethren.  He served during the late war with the First Ohio Volunteer Cavalry members of which bore his body to its last resting place in Pleasant Hill cemetery.  The funeral was held January 17th from the Church of the Brethren and was conducted by Rev. Isaac Frantz, assisted by Rev. Kerr and Rev. Ashman.
