JOHN, DAVID - David John, a well known resident died at the home of his son, Elmer John of near Hardin, Shelby county, at an early hour Thursday morning the result of a stroke of paralysis.  The deceased was 86 years old and had spent most of his life at Fletcher, Miami county.  His wife died about 10 years ago, since which time he had been residing with his children, Mrs. Daniel Dill of Pasco and Elmer John of near Hardin.  The funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Baptist church in Fletcher.  The interment took place at the Fletcher cemetery.
