COLLINS, DAVID - The sudden death of a Tipp City man last Monday evening, January 10, is still under investigation by the Miami County sheriff's department with a report from the county coroner's office yet to come.  As reported, while en route to 646 Shoop Rd. concerning domestic trouble, the deputies said they were informed the man at the address had stopped breathing.  Identified as David Collins, 26, of 240 W. State Route 571, the man was pronounced dead on arrival at Stouder Memorial Hospital.  Deputies reported that Collins had been drinking and apparently became violent before he stopped breathing.  Collins, the son of William Collins in Kentucky and Mrs. E. Rowena Collins of Tipp City, was born May 29, 1950.  He is survived by his wife, Patricia, and two daughters, Michael and Katheryn and two brothers, John and Michael Collins of Tipp City.  Since graduating from Tippecanoe high school in 1967, Collins was employed as a carpenter for the Collins Construction Co.  He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Tipp City.  Calling hours were held Wednesday, January 12 at the Frings and Bayliff Funeral Home.  Burial was January 13 in Forest Hill Cemetery.
