RAPP, CLAUDE - As the Miami Union goes to press this week there comes the sad news of the death of Claude Rapp, a former editor of this paper, who died at his home on Crawford street at 10 o'clock this morning.  While not unexpected, as for the past year and a half he had been suffering from tuberculosis of the lungs, his death comes as a shock to his host of friends and perhaps in a peculiar way to those who were associated with him in this office and had learned to appreciate his many good qualities.  No arrangements have yet been made for the funeral.

J. E. Etter officiated and paid a tribute to his excellent qualities.  Many and beautiful floral tributes were slight tokens of the esteem in which he was held.  The local aerie F. O. E. gave their ritualistic service and accompanied the remains to Riverside where interment was made
