Charles M. Cron

HOLIDAY, Fla.  --   Charles M. “Tut” Cron, 76, of Holiday , Fla. , died at his residence Friday, Sept. 4, 1987. He was born in Piqua on May 2, 1911, the son of the late Charles W. and Anna Guenther Cron.  His wife, the former Leudema Wise, survives in Florida.      He was the former owner/operator of Cron’s Market on Nicklin Avenue in Piqua .  He was a member of VFW Post 4874, the Moose and Elks lodges of Piqua , the American Legion and DAV, the Eagles Lodge in New Port Richie, Fla. , and the St. Paul’s United Church of Christ. Other survivors include tow sons, Jack Felix of Palm Springs, Calif; three daughters, Mrs. Lois Ann Slocumb of Columbus , Mrs. Shirley Rae Lenhart of Lewistown and Mrs. Janice Nill of Piqua; and nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral arrangements are pending from the Jamieson and Yannucci Funeral Home.
