HARRIS, CHARLES LOUIS  

Harris, Charles Louis, 42, passed away Thursday, January 20, 2005, at 5:30 a.m. at his home in Carrollton after a valiant battle with cancer.  He was born August 12, 1962 in Elgin, Illinois.  He is survived by his wife, Angela Harris of Carrolton; three daughters, Trisha Torok and Jessica Harris of Tampa, Florida, and Allison Griswold of Carrollton; a sister, Elizabeth Cripe of Bristol, Indiana; and many other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Phyllis Marie and Robert Louis Harris.  He was proud to serve our country in the United States Air Force from 1984 to 1994.  He received two Air Force Achievement Medals for meritorious service, among other awards.  Chuck was an inspiration to all who knew him in his life and in his death.  His gentle, loving ways will be greatly missed.  A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 29, 2005 at 10:00 a.m., at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Carrollton with Deacon Philip Webb officiating.  At a later date his cremains will be interred at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.  The family requests that in lieu of floral tributes a contribution be made to the Colon Cancer Alliance (212) 627-7451 in Chuck’s name.  North Dallas Funeral Home Family Owned and Operated 2710 Valley View Lane Dallas Texas 972-241-9100 www.dallascremations-funerals.com
