HARMON, CHAUNCEY - Chauncey Harmon, perhaps the oldest newspaper publisher in Miami county, died at 2 o'clock Sunday morning at the home of Mr. and Mrs. M. K. Gantz.  Death was due to infirmities from which he had been suffering for several years.  Mr. Harmon was born in Clarkson, N. Y. about 85 years ago.  In 1852 he married Miss Anna Eaton.  He came to Troy over half a century ago and in 1855 he founded the Troy Times which he conducted for many years.  Later he operated a printing plant but for the past several years had spent his time looking after his farm and other property of which he had accumulated considerably.  The funeral services were held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon from the Gantz home, with interment at Riverside cemetery.
