WHITE, BENJAMIN - Benjamin White, formerly of Kirkwood, died Sunday forenoon at the home of his sister-in-law, Mrs. Theodore Grubbs, of Troy, with whom he had come to make his home.  Death was due to heart trouble.  Mr. White was born in West Liberty on January 14, 1841.  He served in the Civil War, being a private in Co. H. 46th O. V. I.  The funeral was held from Mrs. Grubbs' home, Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock.  Burial was made in Riverside cemetery.
