Ballou--Miss Anna Layman died at her home here Sunday, February 13, her death
being the result of a severe nervous disorder. She was past 40 years of
age. All her life she had been a cripple yet, despite her misfortune she
was always cheerful and never forgot her trust in God. She led an
exemplary life. She was a member of the Dunkard church. The funeral
was held from the home Tuesday.
