ROUTSON, ANGELINE - Sorrow was brought home to many last Thursday when the death of Angeline Routson, wife of George W. Routson, took place at the Memorial hospital in Piqua.  She had been ill for some time with cancer and had been taken to the hospital where an operation was performed but without avail.  Mrs. Routson was born near Covington on November 20, 1869, and was happily united in marriage to her husband on July 22, 1892, her maiden name being Branson.  In addition to the husband and son, four sisters and three brothers survive: Mrs. Harriett Hildebrand, of Dawson, Mrs. Caroline Johnson of San Antonio, Texas, Mrs. Sarah Hartzell, north of Troy, Mrs. Lydia McMaken, of Piqua, Willis Branson, of Bradford, John Branson of Covington, and Frank Branson of Sidney.  Mrs. Routson's mother passed away two weeks ago and her father died five years ago.  Mrs. Routson was an active member of the English Lutheran church and will be greatly missed in all departments.  The funeral services were held from the home at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon and were conducted by Rev. C. E. Paulus who paid a beautiful yet sincere tribute to the ideal home life of the dead woman and her interest and activity in church work.  The coffin was covered with lovely flowers the gift of the school children of Concord and Staunton townships of the schools of which Mr. Routson is superintendent.  Interment was made at Riverside cemetery.
