June 15, 1911

HILL, ALBERT - Albert Hill of just east of Laura died Monday, June 5, at 1:30 o'clock.  He had been in ill health for a long time.  He was born in Miami county in 1866 and was a son of Lot and Fanny Hill.  Sept. 6, 1887, he was married to Josephine Moton who with eight children, one grandchild and the dead man's four brothers and one sister, Mrs. Rebecca Robinson of Chillicothe and a host of other relatives and friends survive him.  He had been a faithful member of the Lick Branch church for almost nineteen years and became janitor of the church last fall.  His sincere and earnest prayers and songs will be much missed.  He was a loyal member and a kind neighbor and in every way highly esteemed.  The funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon, June 7, from the Lick Branch church being conducted by the Rev. Enos Pemberton of Ludlow Falls, assisted by Rev. Jonathan Jay and Rev. Jesse Peacock.  Interment was made at Hanktown cemetery.
