GRAY, WILLIAM E. 'BILL' - Casstown - William E. "Bill" Gray, 60, of Casstown, passed away at 9:48 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009 in his residence. He was born on March 8, 1949 in Dayton, a son of the late Richard E. and Faith (Tharp) Gray. He is survived by his wife, the former Diane C. Group, whom he married on July 6, 2002; two children, Erin (Anthony) Cooper of Troy, Ryan Gray and fiance Shelby Harrold-Leggett of Centerville, three step children, Amy (Charles) Dellinger of Huntersville, NC, Ross (Stephanie Conn) Robb of New Carlisle, and Brett Robb of Casstown. He also is survived by a brother, Kenneth (Barbara) Gray of Chicago; a sister, Patricia Dyer of Huber Heights, his mother-in-law, Bea Group of New Carlisle, a brother-in-law, Tom (Jan) Group of Texas, several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Bill was a 1967 graduate of Wayne High School. He was employed by Konica Minolta of Columbus for 35 years. He will be fondly remembered by all that knew him. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Suber-Shively Funeral Home, 201 W. Main St., Fletcher. Burial will follow in Casstown Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Bill's memory to the Kidney Cancer Association, PO Box 3516, Oak Brook, IL 60522. Envelopes will be available in the funeral home.
