GUNDOLF, RICHARD A. - Richard A. Gundolf, 91, of St. Louis, Mo. died May 16, 2009. He was born June 17, 1918 in New Carlisle, the son of the late Ralph and Marie (Saylor) Gundolf. He worked at General Motors, A. O. Smith and was an auctioneer. He was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Miriam (Leapley); son, Scott A. Gundolf of St. Louis; sister, Betty and Lowell Mott of Troy; nieces, nephews, other relative and friends. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Steven D. Gundolf. Services were held May 21 in Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home in New Carlisle. Burial was in New Carlisle Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to www.trostelchapman.com.
