CONNICK, MARY CATHERINE (BOYLE) - West Milton - Mary Catherine (Boyle) Connick, 82, was born March 6, 1927, in Carrick County, Donegal, Ireland, and departed for heaven Thursday, Nov. 5, 2009, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton. Family will receive friends at the Hale-Sarver Funeral Home, 234 N. Miami St., West Milton, from 3-5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8. Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted by the Rev. John MacQuarrie at Transfiguration Church, 572 S. Miami St., West Milton, at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 9. Burial will be next to her husband, Jim, at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon, Ohio (outside of Cleveland). There will be a memorial service on Tuesday, Nov. 10, at Holy Cross in Euclid, Ohio, for Mary's Cleveland-based family and friends, immediately preceding the burial.

CONNICK, MARY CATHERINE (BOYLE) - age, 82, was born March 6, 1927 in Carrick Co. Donegal, Ireland and departed for heaven on November 5, 2009 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton. Mary was preceded in death by her beloved and loving husband, James Donald Connick in 1968. Alone, she raised a 2 year old and 14 year old daughter. It was her deep Catholic faith and personal relationship with God that always sustained her. Mary prayed for her family, her friends and their concern constantly. And, more often than not, God listened to her. The family is comforted knowing that God will take good care of his praying friend, and that she is together again with Jim. Mary is also preceded in death by her parents John and Bella (Meehan) Boyle, her brothers James, Dennis, John and Tommy, her sister Bridgid, her aunts Bridgid Burke and Helen O'Toole and many other friends and family. Mary is survived by her daughters Mary (Bill) Grilliot-West Milton and Patricia Connick-Columbus, 2 grandchildren, Moira (Patrick) Murty and Will (Jessica) Grilliot and 1 great grandchild, Sean William Murty. She is also survived by her brother Joe (Margaret) Boyle-Cleveland and their children Tommy, Joey (Kelly) Tina (Dale) and Sheilia. Arrangements are being handled through Hale-Sarver Funeral Home. Family will receive friends at the funeral home (234 N. Miami Street, West Milton, OH) on Sunday, November 8 from 3-5 PM. Mass

She also prayed 3 Hail Mary's every Tuesday morning for a pleasant surprise, do the same and that can be her last gift in this life to you.
