FARVER, LOIS (Nee: BOWMAN) - Lois Farver, 82, of West Milton, died March 29, 2009 at Tidewell Hospice, Sarasota, Fla. She was born July 21, 1926 in Berea, Ky. She was a member of Hoffman United Methodist Church, West Milton, and American Legion Poince Gingrich Post 487 Auxiliary. She and her husband enjoyed spending the winter months at their home at Southwinds Mobile Home Park in Sarasota, Fla. where she was very active. She was preceded in death by her parents Robert B. and Reecie (Todd) Bowman; brothers, Isaac, William, Jack, Harry and Robert Bowman; sisters, Lucille Nazarias, Mary Casey, Evelyn Yount and Alice Palmer. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Charles D. Farver and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held April 4 at the Hale-Sarver Funeral Home, West Milton, with burial following at Riverside Cemetery, West Milton. Contributions may be made to the Hoffman United Methodist Church or Tidwell Hospice and Palliative Care, 5955 Rand Boulevard, Sarasota, Fla. 34239.
