GREEN, CATHERINE FRANCES (nee: DOWNING) - Catherine Frances (Downing) Green, 89, of Greenville, formerly of West Milton died on Monday, Aug. 17, 2009 at Rest Haven Nursing Home, Greenville. She was born Oct. 9, 1919 in Dayton. She was a longtime member of the Sunshine Grandmothers Club. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Kathryn Green of Greenville; daughters and sons-in-law Patricia and Doug Hickman of Tipp City, Linda and Gerry McClellan of Celina, Brenda and Don Tarrence of Palm Coast, Fla.; son-in-law, Steven McWilliams of Dayton; 14 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great grandchildren. Catherine was preceded in death by her parents Allen and Rhoda Luella (Smith) Downing, husband, Waldo J. Green, daughters, Billie Ann Green and Louise McWilliams. Services were held Aug. 20 at the Hale-Sarver Funeral Home, West Milton with Rev. Bill Cupp officiating. Burial was in Forrest Hill Cemetery, Vandalia.
