REEDER, ALICE MAY - Alice May Reeder, 90, of Troy, formerly of Tipp City, died Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2009 at Harborside Healthcare, Troy. She was born June 4, 1918 in Tipp City. She was a quiet person who loved the Lord and a member of Sugar Grove Bible Church. She also enjoyed working in her yard. She was preceded in death by her parents, William I. and Cora Luella (Scheaffer) Reeder; brother, Ralph S. Reeder and niece, Arlene Reeder Pemberton. She is survived by sister-in-law, Coral Reeder; special niece and nephew, Ann and Norman Reeder of Tipp City; nephew, Norman and Betty Reeder, West Milton; niece, Wilma and Jeroid Brewer of Lenoir, N.C., 14 great nieces and nephews; 16 great-great nieces and nephews and two great-great-great nephews. Funeral services were held Feb. 20 at the Hale-Sarver Funeral Home, West Milton, with Pastor Ken Oren officiating. Burial followed at Wheelock Cemetery.
