MOORE, ALICE A. - Piqua - Alice A. Moore, 79, of Piqua, Ohio and formerly of Troy, passed away at 4:50 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 8, 2009, at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton. She was born in Piqua, Ohio, on Nov. 19, 1929, to the late Amos Worley and Elsie (Comer) Evilsizor. Alice married Arlis Moore on September 3, 1960 and he survives. Other survivors include her three sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Darlene Beckstedt of Bradford, David and Diana Beckstedt of Troy, and Charles and Sherl Beckstedt of Bradford; eight grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; sister, Christina McDonald of Piqua. In addition to her parents, Alice was preceded in death by her two sisters, Lucille Monger and Gwendola Comer. Alice was of the Baptist Faith. She retired on Oct. 30, 1990 from B. F. Goodrich in Troy after 30 years of service. Alice was a member of the VFW Auxiliary, Troy. She enjoyed camping, traveling, and gardening. There will be a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2009, at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy, with Pastor Dale Christian officiating. The visitation will take place at the funeral home from 4-7 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2009. Interment will take place at Forest Hills Cemetery, Tipp City.
