COCHRAN, LESLIE BOYD, JR
. - Leslie Boyd Cochran, Jr., 74, of Pleasant Hill, OH, formerly of Troy, died Saturday, June 13, 2009.  He was born July 8, 1934 in West Portsmouth, OH to the late Leslie Boyd Cochran, Sr., and Myrtle Marie (Mingus) Cochran.  He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Shirley Ann (Knife) Cochran; two sons and daughter-in-laws.  Steven Lee Cochran of Longmont, Colorado and Jeffrey Lynn and Judith Cochran of Versailles, OH; granddaughters: Amanda Cochran, Danielle Cochran, Ashley Cochran, and Hannah Cochran.  He was preceded in death by his parents; one granddaughter Kimberly Ann Cochran and one sister Thelma Mae Cochran.  He was a graduate of the University of Dayton in accounting; member of the Hobart Quarter Century Club, Troy; Troy Church of the Brethren where he was a past member of the Board and Treasurer; American Legion, Troy; I.M.A. (Institute of Management Accountants); US Marine Corp veteran serving during the Korean War.  He was a Pricing Analyst with PMI retiring in 1997 after 41 years of service.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday June 17, 2009 @ 10:30 AM at the Baird Funeral Home with the Rev. Sheila Shumaker officiating.  Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery - Troy.  Friends may call on the family Tuesday June 16, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM.  Memorial contributions may be made to Troy Church of the Brethren or the American Diabetes Association.  Friends may express condolences to the family through www.bairdfuneralhome.com
