FILBRUN, PERRY MOHLER - 90, passed away on March 27, 2004 at the Koester Pavilion in Troy.  Born in Covington, he was the son of the late Perry and Lueffie Filbrun.  Mr. Filbrun retired from Hobart Brothers in 1981 as a manufacturing engineer after 43 years of service.  He was a member of the Troy Church of the Brethren, the Brukner Nature Carvers, and was a former member of the Hobart Milestone Club and the Dayton Metallurgical Society.  He served as an Army Medic during World War II.  He was a 1932 graduate of Lanier High School in West Alexandria, OH.  He is survived by his wife of 12 years, Phyllis Stoner Filbrun; his children, Richard Filbrun and his wife Marilyn of Mill Valley, CA., Carolyn Sue Manoni and her husband Arthur of Clifton Park, NY; one brother, Paul Filbrun and his wife Mary Ellen of Covington; four grandchildren, Scott Filbrun, Julie Filbrun, Greg Manoni and Trisha Manoni Ball; one great-grandchild, Erin Filbrun; his stepchildren, Douglas Stoner of San Manuel, AZ; Don Stoner and his wife Donna of San Antonio, TX; Nancy Kussman, Mathew Kussman, Spencer Stoner, Taylor Stoner, and Maria Stoner.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Rosemary Filbrun, as well as two sisters, Glenna Rapp and Evelyn Flory, and four brothers, Robert, Joseph, Carl and David.  Services will be held Wednesday, March 31, 2004 at 10:00 A.M. at the Troy Church of the Brethren with the Rev. Sheila Shumaker and the Rev. Michael Hopson officiating.  Relatives and friends may call from 4 to 8 P.M. Tuesday, March 30, 2004 at the Baird Funeral Home in Troy.  Burial will be in Highland Cemetery in Covington, OH with Military Honors.  Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County P. O. Box 502, Troy, Ohio 45373 or to the Troy Church of the Brethren, 1431 W.
