RHOADES, DELIGHT MORTON - age 89, died of heart failure Feb. 8, at her home in Friendship Village, Dayton.  She was born on Feb. 5, 1915 in Greenville, OH.  The daughter of Theresa Maude Younker and Walter I. Morton.  She was a graduate of Greenville High School and Miami University, class of 1937, where she received a BS degree in Education with a major in History.  She taught from 1937-1939 in the Trenton school system.  She was a Teacher in the Troy school system from 1954-1959 and was a Social Studies and a Mathematics Teacher in the Northmont school system from 1959-1975.  She was a member of the Northmont Teacher Association and was long time member of the League of Women's Voters AFS and FISH.  She served as a Pole Worker for many years and was a volunteer in the Friendship Village Store.  She was also a Northmont School Board Liaison.  She was predeceased by her brothers Ralph W. and Frank Morton.  She is survived by her husband of nearly 65 years, Paul Hess Rhoades; brothers Otho C. Morton of Columbus, Richard Y. (Betty Lu) of Kettering; sisters, Frances (Mayo) Prentice of Tacoma, Washington Dorthea Morton of Englewood, Helen Morton of Dayton; daughter Carol R. (Michael) Kagay of Princeton, NJ, Linda K. (William) Zelazny of Chagrin Falls, OH., Kathryn E. Rhoades of Montreal, Canada; son Marvin L. (Pamela) of Pittsburg, PA; 9 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.  A memorial service will be held on Sat., Feb. 21 at 11 A.M. at the Concord Methodist Church, 1123 S. Main St., Englewood.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to FISH, 201 No. Main St., Englewood, OH 45322 or Concord Methodist Church, 1123 S. Main St., Englewood, OH 45322
