MAYER, LYDIA A. - Lydia A. Mayer of 7990 S. Palmer Rd., New Carlisle, died Sunday, June 1 at Dettmer Hospital in Troy. She was a past member of Brandt Lutheran Church in Brandt, Ohio, and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Columbus, and the Ohio State University Mother's Club. Widow of Carl Mayer, she is survived by two sons, Robert A. of Oakland, California, and Charles G. of New Carlisle; and three grandchildren, sisters Corine Combs, Lucille Dierker and Helde Dierken, all of Grove City, Ohio. Services were held Wednesday, June 4 at Schoedinger State Street Chapel, with burial in Green Lawn Cemetery in Columbus. Pastor Clyde A. Miller officiated. The family suggests contributions to Music Program at Brandt Lutheran Church, 6870 E. State Route 40, Tipp City, Ohio 45371, Attn: Freda Hosler; or Trinity Lutheran Church.
