FLORY, GEORGE - Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday at the Frings and Bayliff Funeral Home for a former Tipp City resident, George Flory, 59, of 325 E. Lincoln Street, Dayton. A retired truck driver, Flory was a former Tipp City policeman. He was a member of the First Baptist Church. A native od Darke County, he was the son of Ethel Groff Flory and the late Blaine Flory. Flory died on Wednesday at Miami Valley Hospital after a brief illness. Other survivors, in addition to his mother, are his wife, Dorothy Waitman Flory; a daughter, Mrs. Virgil (Virginia) Agne, and a son, George Flory, both of Troy; a sister, Mrs. Marvin (Lois) Harshbarger of Troy; two brothers, Donald of Pleasant Hill and Doyle of Troy; and two grandchildren. Friends may call at the funeral home from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Friday. The Reverend Bob Beatty will officiate at final rites. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
