HESLEP, DONALD L. JR. - Former Commander of the Frank Robinson Post of the American Legion Donald L. Heslep, Jr., was killed June 5 in an automobile accident on State Rte 55, East of Casstown. Also killed was Richard Bereczky of Troy. Both men were returning home after work and the accident occurred on rain slick roads, their deaths make nine in the county for 1973. Heslep is survived by his wife, Anne: three daughters, Elizabeth Anne, Donna Kathleen and Jonna Dea, all at home, mother Mary Heslep; and grandmother, Mary Hoffman, of Greenfield. An employee of the A. O. Smith Corp. in Tipp City, Heslep was a past patron of the Olivet Chapter of the Eastern Star, a member of Mt. Olivet Lodge 538 of the F&AM Christiansburg and a Korean War veteran. Services were conducted on Saturday in St. Paris with burial in Honey Creek Cemetery.
