MASSIE, JAMES A. - Funeral services are to be held this afternoon (Wednesday) for James A. Massie, 73, of 3318 S. Tipp-Cowlesville road, Troy who died Sunday in Dettmer hospital.  The Reverend John Talley will officiate at the services in the Frings and Bayliff funeral home.  Burial is to be in Glen Haven cemetery in Donnelsville.  Mr. Massie was a retired machinist from the National Cash Register company and a member of the Tipp City Masonic lodge.  Masonic services were conducted Tuesday evening at the funeral home.  Survivors include his wife, Olice; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Thelma) Hughes of St. Paris and Mrs. Harold (Kathleen) Tuthill of West Alexandria; a son, Raymond, of Dayton; two brothers, Harold of Dayton and Percy of Wilmington; five sisters, Mrs. William (Minnie) Whitehead, Mrs. Russell (Leslie) DeMent, Mrs. Myrtle Lindsey, Mrs. Lawrence (Lucille) Beck, and Mrs. Helen Grishop, all of Dayton; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
