FREE, RAYMOND - Raymond D. Free, 64, of 310 Garber Dr., Tipp City, died Sunday morning in Piqua Memorial hospital.  Surviving are his wife Virginia; a son, Michael of Columbus; a brother, Russell of New Carlisle; and two sisters, Mrs. William (Fannie) Pencil of Urbana, and Mrs. Horace (Clara) McFarland of Springfield.  He was the former owner and operator of the Tipp City IGA having built the present IGA in 1960.  The store was sold in October of 1965 to the present owners.  A World War II veteran, he was a member of the American Legion; Tippecanoe Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite Valley of Dayton, Eastern Star, the Tipp City United Methodist Church and Semper Fidelis Class.  Services were held Tuesday at Frings and Bayliff Funeral Home in Tipp City.  The Rev. Fred M. Mark and the Rev. Forest Huffman officiated.  Burial was in Forrest Hill Cemetery in Piqua.
