WHITEMAN, ARTIE L. - Mrs. Artie L. Whiteman, 89, of 109 N. Hyatt St., Tipp City, died last Friday at her residence. She was married to the late John Herbert Whiteman. Mrs. Whiteman attended the United Methodist church in Tipp City. Surviving are two sons, Edward Whiteman, Kenneth Whiteman both of Tipp City; two daughters, Mrs. Herbert (Bessie) Long, Troy, Mrs. Marcia Durst, Tipp City; one sister, Mrs. Bernard (Elsie) Gessaman, Dayton; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Services were held Sunday at the Frings and Bayliff Funeral Home with Rev. Fred M. Mark officiating. Burial was in Maple Hill Cemetery.
