Tippecanoe City: E. R. Fidler, who has been ill for several weeks past, died very suddenly last Sunday morning. Mr. Fidler was one of our oldest citizens and was universally respected. His wife passed to the beyond but a few short years ago. He has been a life-long member of the Methodist church. He leaves five children – Mrs. Samuel Wells, Ms. Joseph Bishop, Mrs. Thomas Baskerville, and Elmer and Charles Fidler.
