McKAIG, MRS. ELIZA - At her home near Troy, O., Nov. 20, 1880, Mrs. Eliza McKaig. She was born in Troy, May 7, 1825, and soon being an orphan she was brought up in the family of David and Nancy McClung. She was married to Mr. Joses McKaig, March 11, 1847. Mrs. McKaig united with the Church when about 15 years of age and remained in such connection until the day of her death. She was intelligent, kind and true. She was the mother of one child according to the flesh and of two others by adoption, and faithfully did she discharge toward them the duties of a mother. Her long affliction was borne with Christian resignation, and she gave evidence that she was prepared for a better world. "Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord." J. K. G.
