RYAN, MARTIN L. - The community was saddened this week by the death of Mr. Martin L. Ryan, which occurred at 2 o'clock Wednesday morning, the result of a stroke of apoplexy, with which he was attacked on Tuesday night, and from which he never rallied.  The deceased was highly esteemed by many friends, was one of our leading jewelers, a prominent Mason, and a director and Treasurer of the Border City Building Association.  The funeral will occur on Friday.
