HILL, THOMAS
- Thomas Hill, an aged colored man, who for several
years has been the motive power of the large cylinder press upon which
the UNION is printed, died last Wednesday afternoon. "Old Hill" was
naturally a powerful man and had wonderful endurance, but a love for
whisky got the better of him and caused his death.
