O'NEAL, THOMAS - Thomas O'Neal, a freight brakeman on the D. & M. Road, met with a tragic death on Friday night of last week, near Pontiac--twelve miles north of Troy. A sudden jar of the train threw him from the top of the car and he fell on the track. Twelve or fifteen cars passed over his body mangling it in a horrible manner. He was buried at Lima, Sabbath afternoon. O'Neal was an industrious young man about 20 years of age.
