Miami Union - From Piqua Items

ROBINSON, WILLIE - The annual drowning case, which seems to occur here with almost every returning of Independence Day, took place in Rush Creek, the victim being a little colored boy named Willie Robinson.  He ventured into a deep hole to bathe, and was probably seized with cramp, the water being very cold.  Two little sons of Dr. Gabriel, who happened to be near, called for assistance, and made a good attempt at rescue themselves, but all efforts were unavailing.
