HOOVER, SAMUEL - KICKED BY A HORSE - A sad accident occurred near Dye's Mill, a short distance south of Troy, last Sunday morning, which resulted in the death of an aged man. Mr. Samuel Hoover, father-in-law of David Swisher, the miller, was leading the horse when it whirled and kicked him in the head, fracturing the skull and rendering him insensible. Medical aid was summoned, but Mr. H. did not revive, and died in the morning of the same day. His funeral took place Wednesday morning.
