CURTIS, MR. J. L. - Mr. J. L. Curtis, for several years an employee in Sharp's Carriage Shop, died on Friday afternoon of last week from the effects of a stroke of paralysis received some months since.  His remains were taken to his former home, in the northeastern part of the state, for interment.  Mr. Curtis was an honest, upright, intelligent gentleman, such a one whose death is a loss to any community.
