MITCHELL, MARVIN M. - Marvin M. Mitchell, formerly of Troy,
died at the residence of his uncle in New Carlisle, on Sunday last, of
Consumption, a disease to which he has been a victim for several years. His
funeral took place from the residence of his father, Mr. John C. Mitchell,
in Bethel Township, on Tuesday afternoon, conducted by Rev. A. W. Clokey,
of Troy; burial at New Carlisle. The deceased was a member of the Pearson
Guards, and a squad of that organization, accompanied by the Firemen's Band,
escorted his remains to their last resting place--mourning sincerely the
loss of a noble, true-hearted comrade and companion.
